2 Days Lamu Depart early in the morning to fly to LAMU island plane will land at Manda Island for 5 min Dhow transfer across to Lamu. This forgotten Swahili town (no cars on the Island) has a fascinating museum and you will have time to explore the beaches and seafront, visit the museum and donkey hospital, lunch, dinner and overnight at Lamu Palace Hotel. 2 Days Maasai Mara Transfer from your hotel to Airport (Mombasa ,Nairobi or Malindi) depending on where your hotel is situated then fly to world’s famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve. On arrival start a game drive in a safari jeep en route to the camp or Lodge for lunch. At 4pm, you will have another game drive drive at this jewel park of Kenya. Dinner and overnight at Fig Tree camp or David Livingstone Safari Resort. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2 Days Zanzibar Zanzibar has a potent mixture of history, legends and unique cultures. Visually stunning with exceptional natural beaches and the haunting architecture of Zanzibar town, the island has lured travelers to its shores for centuries. Merchants, rulers, explorers, and scholars dominated its past. Today tourism is playing a key role in Zanzibar. Zanzibar is famous for being a major producer of cloves, and infamous for being a slave entry-port, the old stone town of Zanzibar has a fascinating labyrinth of narrow winding streets lined with whitewashed- coral-rag houses with overhanging balconies and magnificently carved brass studded doors, shops, bazaars, mosques, courtyards, squares etc. Outside town there are more ruined palaces, Shirazi remains and Persian baths. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3 Days Maasai mara You will be picked from your hotel at 7:00am and transferred to Ukunda Airstrip or Moi Airport for your scheduled flight to Masai Mara. Flight leaves at 8:00am for Ukunda and 8.30am from Mombasa and it takes about 2hours. On arrival in Masai mara, you will be met by a driver guide in a 4x4 Landcruiser for a short game drive to the Lodge/Camp for Check-in. Lunch in the Lodge/Camp. After lunch you will have an afternoon game drive until 6:00pm in the evening. Masai Mara National Reserve was opened in November 1974 and has since become Kenya's most famous and popular national reserve in Kenya, the park covers an area of 1,510 square kilometers and features a wide variety and high density of wildlife that is easily seen. |
